Safeguarding

Your child’s safety is our utmost concern.  We strive to make our children be (and feel) as safe as possible through a variety of means:  through the physical means of ensuring gates and doors are locked at key times; through the vetting of visitors to school and of staff; by teaching children about their own safety be that on the topic of bullying, e-safety, or staying healthy; and by having comprehensive procedures if concerns are raised.

If you have any concerns about any of the children in our school then please make them known to the headteacher, Mr Reece, who is the ‘designated safeguarding lead’ or the deputy, Mrs Hodkinson, who is the ‘deputy designated safeguarding lead’

Please be aware also, that this school is part of Operation Encompass – a partnership between ourselves and Merseyside Police which informs us of any domestic abuse reported to the police the next morning.  See below for more details.

For further details please read our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy below.  The other documents give all schools guidance on keeping children safe.  Other useful policies can be found in the policies section of this website.
