Music: Years 1-6
‘YUMU’ by Charanga – Remote Music Learning Platform
I have now set up usernames and passwords for each year group to access the music scheme we use in school to support our learning. ‘YUMU,’ Charanga’s online learning space, provides children with the opportunity to work through selected units, building on their learning from music lessons in school.
Click HERE to access YUMU. Log in details for each year group have been sent via ParentApps.
I have selected units and songs appropriate for each year group in which children can work through at their own pace. Please encourage your child to use this resource as I am sure it will be a nice activity for them during this difficult time.
Any questions, please contact me via my Twitter page @greavesrbl.
Computing: Years 1-6
Please click on the links below to access online resources to support your child’s Computing knowledge:
Turtle Academy is a free online software and very easy to use. As students work through this material they build up their skills in programming. Get ahead with developing your own and your students skills to learn programming. This is an ideal resource for the introduction of Computer Science into the curriculum.
Scratch is a block-based visual programming language and website targeted primarily at children. Users of the site can create online projects using a block-like interface.
