ENGLISH in Year 4

Summer 1

In English, we will be exploring ‘Where the Forest Meets the Sea’ by Jeannie Baker. We will be working up to write our own zoo information board for a rainforest exhibit, whilst using possessive apostrophes. Alongside our English sessions, we will continue to have a grammar lesson, three spelling sessions and handwriting practice. We will also have daily reading sessions, some of which will be using the online learning platform ‘Reading Plus’. The children will hear our class reader twice a week.
