Headteachers' Welcome

Our school believes in everyone in our community striving towards being ‘MAGIC’: Motivated, Aspirational, Growing in Independence and Confidence. As a father of two children myself who have both been through primary, secondary and further education, I fully understand the hopes, fears, dreams, and expectations you have for your child’s education and I’d like to extend those hopes, dreams and expectations to all the children in this school – what I wanted for my own children, I want for the children here too.

We are now part of the Everyone Matters Trust based at Rainford High School.  We have always been (and remain) a feeder school to this successful secondary school, but we are now forging even greater links as part of an academy trust together in terms of curriculum transition; pastoral links and shared resources which will make your child's journey through to secondary school (if you choose Rainford High School) as smooth as possible.

I have worked in three schools previous to Brook Lodge: in Prescot, Newton-le-Willows and Rainhill  before taking on the role of headteacher here in September 2015. This has given me a wealth of experience over 25 years which I bring to the role of headteacher here.
