This half term in Science, we will continue our topic of Materials. As well as recapping what was covered last half term, we will be exploring and working more practically with materials. This will include making a structure to withstand wind and building a waterproof structure. The children will use their scientific skills a lot during this topic as they will be applying their knowledge of materials in the form of an investigation and testing out their ideas. We will also be learning more about glass and fabric, including what they are used to make and their various properties.
