🦉 Story Overview: The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark 🌙

The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson tells the story of Plop, a young barn owl who is frightened of the dark. The story follows Plop as he meets different people, each of whom helps him see the dark in a new way. Through these encounters, Plop learns that the dark can be fun, exciting, beautiful, and even helpful.

The story is structured as a series of episodes. In each chapter, Plop meets a new character who shares a different perspective on the dark. These repeated encounters help Plop gradually grow in confidence until he finally discovers that the dark isn’t something to fear after all, but something to enjoy.

This gentle, reassuring story uses humour, repetition, and warm characters to show how understanding and experience can help us overcome our worries.

The writing outcome is to write a report about owls.
