Literacy

Our topics for Autumn 1 is 'All About Me'. Five Minutes Peace will be our focussed text; however, we will be reading lots of other fiction and texts relating to starting school. These include Harry and the Dinosaurs go to School, Come to School Blue Kangaroo, Boris Starts School and The Colour Monster goes to School.  It's set to be quite the adventure! 

To start our learning journey and encourage independent writers will be inviting all children to our daily 'Drawing Club'.  This is where we will learn to form letters and write words too.  The children will be enocuraged to think deeply and put their imagination to the test!
