Literacy

In Literacy this term, the children will be developing their writing skills by practising how to form both lower-case and capital letters correctly. They will also be learning to spell simple words by listening carefully to the sounds they can hear and writing these using the appropriate letters. Our learning will be enriched through a range of much-loved stories, including Mr Gumpy’s Outing, The Train Ride, Stick Man, Rosie’s Walk, and Handa’s Surprise. These texts will inspire our reading, writing, and discussions, helping the children to build confidence and enjoyment in their Literacy learning.
