Maths
We will complete our work around fractions in week 1. Then we will look at time, mass, capacity and temperature for the rest of the half term. CHildren will take part in practical activities and will complete reasoning and problem solving activities. Objectives include:
recognise and find 3 quarters of a set or number
count in frctions to one whole
read and show o'clock, half past, quarter to and quarter past on an analogue clock
read and show time to 5 minutes and calculate time passed
word problems involving time
weight in kg and grams
capacity and volcume in l and ml
temperature in degrees in celcius
Children are encouraged to access TT rockstars rather than Numbots at this stage of the year and engagement is monitored for homework.
